Artifact is DJ/Producer from Bristol. Similar to many of the other house producers recently to emerge onto the scene (Hodge, Julio Bashmore, Ziro), Ryan Bonfield has gained alot of attention for his prolific musical output.

Last year, Artifact released his Drain EP on Local Action Records, creating a wave in the underground scene. Since then new material has constantly flown at a rapid pace resulting in last autumn’s heavily talked about Burst EP. Not only has Artifact left an impact on 2012, he has also gained high appraisal from many artists and DJs including; Mosca, DJQ and Mary Anne Hobbs who has taken a particular liking to his production resulting in Artifact’s music receiving regular air play on XFM. His last EP recently dropped via the every current Somethinksounds imprint and has received support from the likes of Dark Sky through too Shadow Child and beyond.
