Roel Funcken’s production is painstakingly detailed, deep and ever-morphing, free of any boundaries and preconceptions.
His brother Don Funcken is the other half of Funckarma.
The mix goes moves through wonky beats to glitches, from abstract breaks to straight up d’n'b.

“I usually record these mixes in one or two takes, this one is no exception. I like to make drastic changes in the mixes, tempo-wise, dynamically and harmonically as well.  Going from ambient to Glitch Idm, back to Hip Hop to Dubstep and to Drum’n'bass again. Mixing my own tunes with tracks from other musicians which I appreciate gives the whole mix a better perspective.”
