Oppidan – In my top 5 albums of 2009 – Rob Booth
Access To Arasaka
I’ve included a clip from a remix for ESA (coming soon from Tympanik), as well as 3 unreleased Access To Arasaka songs.
The clip of ‘Seraphic/8x’ is an old song, from 3 or 4 years ago. I don’t know that it will ever see a proper release, as my inspiration for that particular concept album has since subsided.
Term/Echo is actually from the upcoming album void(); and has been heard only by Paul from ‘Tympanik,’ so that’s pretty much a world premiere.
Photons is from the even more upcoming album Paragon.
I hope you enjoy,
AtA
Biography
Hidden talent Access To Arasaka emerges from the woodwork to sign on for a co-release with Tympanik Audio and Spectraliquid labels. The album ‘Oppidan‘ will represent a new chapter in the Tympanik Audio saga by combining densely-layered atmospheres with complex, intelligent beatwork and further defies Tympanik’s mission to introduce our listeners to the next generation of electronic sound construction.
In the works: Check out Access To Arasaka’s excellent work with several free EP downloads via his website and get a further preview of his talents via remixes for Totakeke’s 2CD release titled ‘The Things That Disappear When I Close My Eyes‘ AND Aphorism’s debut album ‘Surge‘, both available now, as well as Zentriert ins Antlitz’s new album ‘…No‘ and a fantastic new songs on ‘Emerging Organisms 2‘ and ‘Miwek Twelve‘ (Hymen) compilations, both out now.
